Now, I’m not flashing you peace here (although of course I wish you peace, love & understanding, my brethren and sistren of the run), but rather I’m marking the fact that tonight, for the first time during the Streak, I passed the two mile mark.
I decided to try an interim week between W2 and W3 of Cto5k, because the jump from 90s runs to 3 minute runs was freaking me out a bit. I’m glad I did because the interval scheme I picked - 2min run/2min walk for 7 intervals - was plenty hard enough. Twice I piked towards the end of a run interval (intervals 5 & 6) and jumped to the walk section before the 2 minutes was up. So, not my best run, but not too bad.
2.04 miles of which I ran 0.93 miles (so close!)
Now, we beer!
